Your Partner in Positive Change: Relationships, Careers, Health, and Life
I am an independently licensed clinical social worker, holding an LISW in Ohio, LCSW in Florida and an LMSW-Clinical and Macro in Michigan, with over 19 years of professional experience. My practice specializes in working with individuals, families, and macro-level systems and teams, covering the full spectrum of life stages from birth to end-of-life.
My extensive career includes work in diverse settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, and home environments. I have devoted a significant part of my career—11 years—to supporting veterans and their families, assisting them through transitions from active duty to end-of-life care. My expertise is further enhanced by specialized training in medical social work, behavioral health, trauma, crisis intervention, adolescent treatment, and child welfare.
I employ a solution-focused clinical approach to help clients build a comprehensive "toolbox" of coping strategies and mindfulness techniques. My practice addresses issues including depression, adjustment to illness, stress, anxiety, and grief. My goal is to empower clients to navigate life’s challenges and changes effectively.
In my practice, I strive to create a welcoming and safe environment where clients can share their thoughts and feelings openly, without fear of judgment. I start where my clients are, guiding them towards their personal goals with empathy, support, and a listening ear. I aim to provide a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to develop the tools needed to manage life's stressors.
Taking the first step towards a more fulfilling and happier life requires courage and strength. I am here to support you on that journey.
